Transplant Games of America to be held in Denver, Colorado June 18,2026
Since 2012, Team Texas has proudly participated in the Transplant Games of America as the Texas Life Warriors. These Games bring together transplant recipients, living donors, donor families, and supporters to celebrate life, honor our caregivers, and express heartfelt gratitude to the donor families who made second chances possible.
More than just a competition, the Games are a powerful platform to raise awareness about organ, eye, and tissue donation. They encourage healthy living and foster meaningful connections among those who share the transplant journey. The U.S. Transplant Games are held every two years on even-numbered years, continuing a tradition that began with a small group of transplant recipients who first came together in the great state of Texas.

SPORTS for recipients include: 5K, Badminton, Ballroom Dancing, Basketball, Bowling, Corn hole (bean bag toss), Cycling, Golf, Racquetball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Texas Hold 'em, Track and Field, Trivia Pursuit, Darts, Pickleball and Volleyball. Living donors can compete in Division II events and donor families can participate in special events. The 5K is a medal event for transplant recipients, living donors, donor families and anyone who likes to run or walk! Gold, Silver and Bronze medals are awarded to the top three competitors in each category.
